Where are your events held?
Our events, unless otherwise stated, are held at Mazama Coffee Co which is located at 301 W Mercer Street, Dripping Springs, Texas, 78620.
Where do I park?
Typically, our events are after hours of the coffee shop so our back lot is closed. Park out front of our shop or any of the spots on Mercer St.
Do I need any experience to attend a class or event?
Most of our classes and events are open to all ability levels, although there may be age restrictions. Any requirements will be clearly stated in the event details page along with a description of what “advanced” means. And who knows, you might be our kind of advanced!
Is there a minimum age required?
Minimum age to attend events will be based on the event and noted in the event details. Generally our events will be geared for adults, 18 and above. Any special circumstances or requests must be pre-approved prior to ticket purchase. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire.
What should I expect the day of the class or event?
We’ll welcome you in as early as 15 minutes before the class or event. Try to arrive 15 minutes early so you can check in and get settled. Our retail is discounted by 10% during events, so take advantage.
We provide all the things you need to have a great time (unless otherwise stated!) so no need to worry about bringing anything.
*Note for classes (not events): if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the start of class, we may be unable to seat you as the class would have progressed and it would be unlikely you'd be able to catch up. If you do decide to participate after a late arrival, it will be up to you to get caught up to the class and the instructor may assist you only after they have ensured the rest of the class is settled.
Can my (friend, significant other, child, great aunt, best friend’s mom) who isn’t taking the class come to watch?
The short answer is “No.” For the best experience and to uphold integrity for all our paying students, we are unable to seat additional folks who don't have a paid ticket. Each ticket counts as one single seat to our class or one admission to our event!
What happens if a workshop is cancelled?
If our event or class is being held outside, we always schedule a rain date as a backup for that unpredictable Texas weather. If you are unable to make the rain date, we can issue a refund for the class or event. But you must email us within 72 hours of the rain date at email@example.com.
Although rare, a class or event may be cancelled or rescheduled if it doesn't meet the minimum registration or if there is an instructor/host emergency. In this event, you will be contacted as soon as this decision has been made via email and we will refund 100% of all paid tickets. We will also notify you as soon as we get it rescheduled.
Something’s come up, I can’t make it to the workshop!
Due to the demands of our events and classes, all of our workshops are non-refundable.
A lot of effort goes into each event and class, from purchasing supplies based on the number of tickets sold and getting prepped. In the event you have someone who would like to take the workshop in your place, let us know within 24 hours and we will happily honor them taking the class in your place.
Oh NO! A workshop I want to take is sold out! What can I do?
Unfortunately, once a class or event is sold out, it does mean that it's at maximum seating capacity and we are unable to accommodate additional people. At this time, we are unable to keep track of waitlists. Your best option is to sign up for our newsletter so you can be the first to know about future classes or events!
